West Chester, PA — To support Chester County Hospital’s COVID-19 Donation Center, several of Cars4Cause “pit crew” members caravanned to the newly established drive-through donation center for supplies to help ensure that Penn Medicine’s front-line healthcare heros are fully prepared to combat the coronavirus outbreak.
A half-dozen sports cars and hot-rods made their way through Chester County with fully-loaded trunks of gloves, masks, detergents, wipes, sanitizer, and other useful anti-bacterial supplies. The entourage was greeted by Tom Gavin, Director of Development, and Volunteer Coordinator, Julie Elicker, a former Penn Medicine employee herself, and other Penn Medicine personnel.
Julie Elicker, shared “The Cars4Cause group made this Easter extra special for Chester County Hospital front line heroes!” The Hospital was very grateful for all the donated items and couldn’t believe how many needed supplies we were able to source.
Chris Colburn, CEO and founder of Cars4Cause, stated, “It’s very humbling to see the triage tents and the amazing work everyone is doing to help during all this health concern. We are humbled and honored to be able to assist our community during this pandemic.”
